just like that
Now that the Duck is walking I don't seem to have any time to myself. He has pretty much learned how to escape from all of the baby prisons I have erected around the house to keep him from wandering and getting into things. We have to keep the bathroom doors closed so he doesn't play in the toilets and the gargbage cans. Duck's also very into touching Little Bears wheelchair which sets off a grump fest. He actually grabbed the joystick once before I could grab him and he ran over his own foot with all 150 pounds of the chair. Gah.
The other night he was playing in the tub and he pointed to a picture of a baby on the bottle of baby wash and he said "baby". It was pretty cool.
Today was the last day of preschool. We went to a little graduation and everything. They even wore caps and gowns. I had to laugh until Little Bear saw me and started to cry. Sometimes he freaks out easily. I held him on my lap and then he was fine.
Yesterday the class field trip went to this place called Bounce U. The kids go crazy and bounce on all kinds of bouncy things. Grumpy took Little Bear on everything so he could play like the rest of the class. I love that Grumpy always finds a way to be Little Bear's legs for him.
Little Bear will go to preschool again next year because the age cutoff is August and he won't be five until October. It will be good for him to be there another year. And lots of his friends will be there again too.
I can't believe we've lived here a whole school year already. Lately, I blink and a month is gone. I hope the summer goes as fast!

we're back
We made it back from our first trip to Disneyland. I haven't been since I was 9! It was amazing, the most fun I've had in ages. I was giddy. It was a thrill to see the kids have so much fun too and to have such a big, fun family to be with.
I had weird flashbacks of riding certain rides with my brother when we were little, a bit surreal.
Little Duck liked riding the tram, the train, Dumbo, the big ferris wheel, It's a Small World and he even fell asleep on Pirates. Bear went non-stop both days and wanted to go on everything, twice. He missed a few rides because he wasn't tall enough but he loved Buzz Light year, Monsters Inc., Pirates, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain and he even went on the Tower of Terror!!! I still can't believe he didn't cry.
He was a trooper. He loved every minute of it. Both of the boys loved the fireworks show and we can't wait to go back again. I wish I could live there. Check out my photos on Flickr.
