doesn't matter he's rich
I'm kind of giggling because over the last couple of days there has been some bruhaha about a certain Oprah loved author, who it turns out may not be telling anything remotely resembling the truth in his best selling novels.
I giggle and I say HA I KNEW IT!!!
Why do I know it? Because I went to high school with him.
I don't care if he wants to make shit up or sound like a bad ass that he's not because that's his prerogative but I certainly think the book should have been marketed as fiction.
Of course, he's loaded now, so he probably doesn't care, right?

You can add him to your "famous list." I think this whole thing is rather interesting. The only thing that sucks is now he's getting even more publicity.

And now Random House is offering refunds for the book because of the controversy.

Great expose at thesmokinggun.com! I think the article said he originally tried to sell the book as 'fiction', but when it wasn't picked up, someone told him it WOULD sell if he marketed it as a 'memoir'. Liar liar pants on fire!

LOL...I'm just loving the fact that he made Oprah fall off her high horse for a minute.
When did she become the last word on everything?
Sheesh!
