oh happy day
I am happy to report that everything seems to be in order. The ultrasound did not detect any abnormalities, not a one.
Of course the doctor reminded me that nothing is totally certain but because my test said I had a 1 in 16 chance of the baby having Trisomy 18, the ultrasound would have certainly picked up something, if there was a problem. She said I could have an amnio to be certain but we decided not to do it.
So for today I am relieved and cautiously optimistic.
