dear dad

Dear Dad,

I've been thinking about you since I woke up this morning. I've been remembering many of the little moments that made our relationship so special.

I remember how when I was little, you made a special frame and used the hose to freeze over the driveway and make it perfectly smooth so I could ice skate on my own personal ice rink.

I remember how you told me my first semi-dirty joke, on a Sunday, on our way to church. I still remember and tell it on occassion.

I remember how anytime we went on vacation you made us swim laps in the pool before we could play.

I remember how you played catch with me, and taught me how to throw hard and far and hit the ball the same way.

I remember how you were always there for us. You were tough but fair. And you taught me to not be afraid to stand up for myself.

I know when you got sick and couldn't remember your life, that you were fustrated and afraid. I promised then to remember for you, and I always will. I remember everything.

I miss you.

Love,
Bugg

I bet that your father was and is beaming with pride that he had a kid like you. You remember your father with great beauty!

why, oh why, must you make me cry??

I saw an ad on craigslist for people to write greeting cards...

Epi - Thank you so much. I hope you are right.

Melanie - Sorry it can't be helped today! I'll have to start my own greeting card company instead.
